With overdose on the rise and women’s rights being violated every day, Teen Challenge New England and New Jersey eagerly anticipates the opening of a New Jersey Women’s Home for adult women. This home will address the overlap of addiction, coercion into sex slavery, and/or other life controlling issues.
God began this endeavor by first placing the desire in our hearts and then in 2016 our President Pasco A. Manzo placed $15,000 in savings as seed faith money. As the news spread the New Jersey District of the Assemblies of God graciously donated a facility on 2.75 acres of land in south Jersey.
We have now begun to fundraise for the necessary renovations and build a financial base to support the needed ministry. Once this is established, we will acquire and train staff to care for residents. Last and most importantly, we call for people who will pray with us for God’s favor to rest on this work.
Director Todd Sheehan of the Teen Challenge New Jersey campus for men will give leadership to this exciting development for the state of New Jersey.
