Many of you have heard, through recent news coverage, how accessible drugs and alcohol are to our children, loved ones, and friends.  Maybe you have picked up a newspaper and read the name of a young man or woman who “died suddenly”.  Well I, Dori Wotus, mother of Eric, can assure you there is nothing sudden about their death.  Addiction is a daily battle, with many cases resulting in a young life taken too soon.   This is why we are hosting the “New Beginnings 3rd Annual Bowling Fundraiser Tournament” on Sunday MAY 22, 2016 in memory of our son, Eric McCourt.  The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about this epidemic and to help raise funding for 3 organizations, 1 of which is Teen Challenge Boston.  My employer, Genesis Health Care, will also be designating a portion of all May 2016 “Jeans Day” monetary donations to TC Boston.  We’ve created this page to make it easy and accessible for you to support this organization because it is making a difference and changing lives!!
